Anna, who?!?!...

Grace Coddington
Creative Director of American Vogue

"If you give in, you don't get perfection."

If you haven't already watched R.J. Cutler's 'The September Issue", I truly suggest you get to it as soon as you can! One of my buddy's did a little side hustle and managed to get me a copy and I must say I was totally inspired by what I saw! At first I was very unsure as to whether or not I would of really locked into the concept of the movie seeing as I already have a fairly broad understanding of the fashion publishing industry and to put it frankly I often hate watching theses sort of fly-on-the-wall documentary style things anyway, It's normally the faux personalities and totally fake situations that let films similar to this one down so I was totally ready to close that screen and head straight to the land of zzz's but to my surprise I took a lot away from it, I was even taking down notes! [Insert loser coin here]

The most interesting part of the movie for me though was watching the relationship between Grace (Coddington) and Anna (Wintour), there sibling like bond was very nice to watch and added a real honest element to the film but what really sweeted me was that we got to witness the rawness of it all! It was VERY comforting to know that even at the very TOP, major shit can go wrong! I'd never really heard of Grace before I had watched the film and this sudden introduction to this long red haired power stylist was beyond amazing! This woman is a silent power house, a true and honest creative... No gadgets, gizmo's, tricks or foolishness just her stella talent and truly original ideas... Completely genius! I totally salute her, for Grace is what it's all about!

Much Love and Kisses

I completely agree. Grace made the movie for me. I had no idea that she had that kind of skill and talent. I am such a fan now.

P.S. Weren't her modeling photos just da bomb?!
